We know Jesus is the reason for the season, and we are asking ourselves what that really looks like in our everyday lives, and how to live it out. The ancient church understood that the three Wisemen’s gifts clearly symbolize three key aspects of Christ’s identity. The gold points to Jesus’ royalty, the frankincense to his divinity, and the myrrh to his humanity. Gleaning from each of their prophetic symbols, how it shapes our view of Jesus, and how it impacts our worship of Jesus.
